House churches are mentioned all throughout the New Testament as the early church expanded. Romans 12 mentions the house church in Aquila and Priscilla’s home. Paul’s letter to Philemon addresses those who gather in his home as mutual leaders and collaborators in the faith. We are experimenting with this concept here in Sarasota. Starting in January 2015 with 7 disciples and one living room, we are entering chapter two of our story. As of September we are now 15 disciples meeting in two living rooms.
